Current (2009) Opportunity Fund Projects
Strengthening the Rule of Law through Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration
The Opportunity Fund has two equally important objectives: to strengthen the Rule of Law in countries around the world through multidisciplinary collaborative action; and to build a worldwide constituency of stakeholders committed to taking action. WJP's Opportunity Fund enables local constituencies to advance the Rule of Law in their own nations and regions. Successful models for strengthening the Rule of Law through collaborative multidisciplinary action are made available to the wider public for replication elsewhere.
The 36 programs currently under the Opportunity Fund were competitively selected from 66 applications from the 2008 World Justice Forum participants.
